Jay Z does it again! Jay Electronica performed at an exclusive music industry event in New York City a couple of days ago. At the end of his performance Jay Z announced his newest signee to Roc Nation. "We're trying to reintroduce magic to Hip-Hop," Jay-Z said. "We watched this wizard do his thing. Y'all supported him. And he's an official Roc Nation signee." The announcement comes after Jay Elect spent years building buzz on the underground circuit and snagging the attention of hip-hop luminaries such as Nas and Diddy.

This morning I read a report where the L.A. District Attorney dropped the charges against Clifford Harris for violating his probation of having felony controlled substance (ecstasy) during a routine traffic stop. The rapper would have served yet another sentence of 11 months after just being released from prison almost 5 months ago on gun charges. It appears that the arresting officers statement allegedly said they smelled marijuana when they approached the car. The officers never booked any of the alleged marijuana and pulled T.I. out his $250,000 Maybach without asking for any registration or identification. There is still no word if his wife Tameka "Tiny" Cottle charges will be dropped. T.I. would be crazy to not take advantage of the grace to escape yet another trip to the big house. Hopefully this is "Motivation" for him to focus on his career and leave the drugs alone "ASAP".

Erykah Badu returns to complete the 2nd Volume to her New Amerykah Album Series. In her new video as you can see above her approach to this video shows Erykah parading down the street nude. The Imagery behind the video depicts Erykah walking the block of Elm Street in Dallas, Texas where John F. Kennedy was shot.Badu is completely nude as she approaches the spot on Elm where Kennedy was shot (which is marked with an "X" on the pavement). The sound of a gunshot can be heard and Badu collapses as if she has been shot. Streaks of blue "blood" then spill from her head as she lays in the street, spelling the word "groupthink." A Dallas city spokesman said that Badu did not have permission for the stunt, reports the Dallas Morning News.
