At the end of his performance Jay Z announced his newest signee to Roc Nation. "We're trying to reintroduce magic to Hip-Hop," Jay-Z said. "We watched this wizard do his thing. Y'all supported him. And he's an official Roc Nation signee." The announcement comes after Jay Elect spent years building buzz on the underground circuit and snagging the attention of hip-hop luminaries such as Nas and Diddy.

This morning I read a report where the L.A. District Attorney dropped the charges against Clifford Harris for violating his probation of having felony controlled substance (ecstasy) during a routine traffic stop. The rapper would have served yet another sentence of 11 months after just being released from prison almost 5 months ago on gun charges. It appears that the arresting officers statement allegedly said they smelled marijuana when they approached the car. The officers never booked any of the alleged marijuana and pulled T.I. out his $250,000 Maybach without asking for any registration or identification. There is still no word if his wife Tameka "Tiny" Cottle charges will be dropped. T.I. would be crazy to not take advantage of the grace to escape yet another trip to the big house. Hopefully this is "Motivation" for him to focus on his career and leave the drugs alone "ASAP".
